Reading

Reading a program from the PLC to the loader

 

            1.        Make sure the PLC is in the stop condition (i.e. the run/stop switch is in the stop position).

            2.        Insert the 8 pin connection plug of the loader (FXo-10LDR) into the 8 pin connection socket of the PLC (FXo, os-XXMR-ES). Be sure to carefully check the orientation of both the plug and the socket.

            3.        Make sure that power is being supplied to the PLC and likewise the loader.

            4.        Press the write/read button (labeled WR/RD) on the left hand side of the loader until the read indicator (labeled RD:LDR<PC) is illuminated.

            5.        Press the enter button (labeled ENT) on the right hand side of the loader. The enter indicator (labeled ENT) should now be flashing.

            6.        Press the enter button again so that the enter indicator is completely illuminated.

            7.        When the enter indicator is no longer illuminated, the program read process is complete.

            8.        Unplug the loader from the PLC and return the PLC to the run condition.

WRITING

Writing a program to the PLC from the loader

 

            1.        Make sure the PLC is in the stop condition (i.e. the run/stop switch is in the stop position).

            2.        Insert the 8 pin connection plug of the loader (FXo-10LDR) into the 8 pin connection socket of the PLC (FXo, os-XXMR-ES). Be sure to carefully check the orientation of both the plug and the socket.

            3.        Make sure that power is being supplied to the PLC and likewise the loader.

            4.        Press the write/read button (labeled WR/RD) on the left hand side of the loader until the write indicator (labeled WR:LDR>PC) is illuminated.

            5.        Press the enter button (labeled ENT) on the right hand side of the loader. The enter indicator (labeled ENT) should now be flashing

            6.        Press the enter button again so that the enter indicator is completely illuminated.

            7.        When the enter indicator is no longer illuminated, the program write process is complete.

            8.        Unplug the loader from the PLC and return the PLC to the run condition.
