The Story Behind the Product
The product development process began in 2006, when senior management and key employees came together to question: Why do our customers love us? What do we do different from the many other booster system manufacturers? What do we like do? And perhaps, more importantly, what do we not like to do? What we discovered was that:
- We design our product, first and foremost, for the operators and service technicians that use and live with our systems. We don’t make any compromises when it comes to designing for their use.
- The cost of a booster system failing to pump was higher than the cost of the system itself.
- Eliminating occupant complaints is more important than cutting edge innovation.
- The yearly cost of the energy to run a booster system is as much as the cost of the system itself.
- Significant improvements in product quality can be made for very little cost increase, if you know where to put the extra money.
Then, the SyncroFlo team undertook a 1 year survey of the current product offerings, comparing all the major manufacturers, listening to building operators and service techs, interacting with manufacturers and technicians who also serve the same customers, along with key suppliers.
The Development Team consists of
- Our on-staff Controls PE
- Our chief test lab technician, who also heads our tech support efforts
- 2 engineers from our PLC manufacturer, Mitsubishi
- A 20+ year veteran startup technician, specializing in fire pump control panels
- Our chief Applications Engineer
Additionally, because SyncroFlo more domestic water booster systems than any company in America, we were able to develop products at 4 different price points. Each one providing maximum value for dollar.
